What Experts Are Saying about Apple is No Longer Dependent On Google?
Since 2007, Google was the fountain head providing mapping data to iPhone but on Monday, 11th June 2012, Apple CEO Tim Cook declared the Map Application services for the next iOS 6 version at the company's annual World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco. In the beginning, iPhone and iPad were only responsible for offering half of traffic on Google Map and as a result additional features such as real-time traffic reports to its mapping services came into existence. The verdict behind leaving Google Maps shows the increasingly fierce encounter between the previously close partners who shared board members. Google will now lose its pride on iPhone user's handsets and there would a significant decrease in traffic as a result.
